Operations & Editorial Director

Elsa joined the MDC team back in 2020 when we were working around one desk in Marin’s home office! She has taken on many roles, but is now the Operations & Editorial Director of Marin Design Co. She graduated from Chico State with a BA in Communications and while she has always had a passion for design, she found that she was better suited for the operations side of things. So everything non-design related, she does for MDC! She also loves writing and speaking on behalf of the brand,  making her the perfect fit to write all our blogs, publications, website, and more.

After growing up in California, Elsa has recently made the move to Chicago. She works remotely and joins the MDC team in person a few times a year. Elsa loves to explore new cultures and architecture through travel, some of her favorite places being Prague, Amsterdam, and Portugal. Her design style has definitely evolved since working at MDC, her current design crushes are Heidi Caillier, Amber Interiors, & Blanc Marine Intérieurs. In her free time, Elsa enjoys snuggling with her pups Tucker & Duncan, working out, binge watching her favorite comfort shows, and spending time with her family.
